Egyptology

Dugald A. Steer works as Senior Editor at Templar, for whom he has written a large number of children's books, including the best-selling Dragonology, its companion Working With Dragons (entitled The Dragonology Handbook in the USA) and the hugely successful Egyptology.

Other books he has written include The Night Tiger, Just One More Story, and Picture This... (with Alison Jay). He also edited Yikes! (by Mike Janulewicz) which was runner up in the 1998 Rhône-Poulenc Children's Science Book Prize.

Currently he is working on a number of further writing projects: a companion to Egyptology entitled The Wonders of Egypt (with Liz Flanagan and T.G.H. James), a number of further Dragonology titles, a younger historical novelty title called How to Be a Knight and the latest addition to Templar's fantastic "ology" series, Wizardology.
